Privacy policy

1. Puzzle progress and preferences

DuoForm saves your active puzzles, moves, undo history, solve times, hint usage, completed levels, daily progress and preferences locally on your device. The app does not send this progress to a DuoForm server. DuoForm currently does not provide its own iCloud sync.

Your device’s backup and restore settings may include app data. Those backups are managed by your device and backup provider. Resetting a puzzle clears its entries, but does not erase your overall statistics or hint history.

2. Advertising and privacy choices

DuoForm uses Google AdMob to display ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform to handle applicable consent and privacy choices. These services may process your IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, app interactions, and crash or performance information. This information supports ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and service improvement.

The ads and data processing available to you depend on your region, your choices and device permissions. When required, DuoForm asks for privacy choices before requesting ads. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices; that entry appears when Google’s consent service requires it.

The app does not request access to your precise device location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone for advertising. The current app does not request Apple’s tracking permission. This does not mean that the advertising SDK collects no information.

Google and participating advertising providers process information under their own policies. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Rewarded hint ads are optional. A completed ad reward unlocks an additional hint. You can keep solving without watching one. A verified Remove Ads purchase disables ads and includes unlimited hints.

3. Purchases

Apple processes the optional Remove Ads purchase. DuoForm uses StoreKit transaction information to verify whether you own it and to restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card details or billing credentials. Apple handles purchase records, payment processing and refund requests under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. Contacting support

If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Support email sent to duoform@hazimzamri.com is routed by Cloudflare to the developer’s email inbox. Cloudflare and the destination email provider process messages to deliver and store them. We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any applicable obligations. You can email us to request deletion of correspondence we control.

5. This website

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Visiting it involves processing ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and request details, to serve pages and protect the service. Read Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, account sign-in or contact forms to this website. Its contact links open your email app. External links take you to services with their own privacy policies.

6. Retention, deletion and your choices

Puzzle data remains on your device until it is removed through device storage controls or app deletion; backups may retain copies under your backup settings. We cannot access or erase locally stored progress remotely. Apple retains purchase information under its own policies, and advertising providers set their own retention periods.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local privacy authority. Contact us for requests concerning information we control. For information held by Apple, Google or another provider, you may also need to use that provider’s privacy controls.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, according to their policies and applicable safeguards.

7. Children’s information

DuoForm does not ask players to create an account or enter personal details to play. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, please contact us so we can review and address it.

8. Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
